Our silk comes from China and is of Grade A quality. It is supplied in a cone shape.
We spin the silk from the cones, and after spinning, this process typically takes 7 to 12 days. It is sent for dyeing to achieve the desired colors.
The dyeing process takes 10 to 15 days.

After drying, the dyed silk is balled and ready to be issued for the weaving process.
Before starting the knotting process, a design sketch is created as a template on a grid. If the carpet is solid plain, a graph is not required. The knotting period, being done by hand, can take several months.
For a carpet size of 250 x 300, three people will work simultaneously. Each day, the weaver can weave 6 to 10 cm, taking 65 to 75 days to complete. The duration may increase for carpets with designs and more colors
Once the carpet is off the loom, the back part needs to be cleaned, taking 2 to 3 days.
Trimming before washing takes 3 to 4 days.
Washing requires one day, but drying takes almost 4 to 6 days in summer and 8 to 10 days during monsoon and winter. Trimming After Washing Trimming post washing takes 3 to 4 days.
